RFK

His Vision and the Decades of Opportunity Lost

Through a study of the assassination of Robert Kennedy, this documentary probes the changes that took place in America over the next 4 decades. Using RFK own words in film never before seen (originally made for the fall 1969 campaign against Richard Nixon), plus newsreel footage from 1968 through to the 2000s, the film examines where Kennedy's policies would have taken the USA and the World, contrasted with the direction that future administrations actually pursued. The film paints a full circle from the enforcement of Civil Rights by Robert Kennedy as Attorney General in the early 1960s, to the election of the first African American President 40 years later.
